Meet Hinsdale Cosmetic Dentist Dr. Karen Blair
Dr. Karen Blair of Dentistry by Design received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Iowa. While practicing as a Registered Nurse she studied at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1985. Dr. Blair became an instructor at the College of Dentistry while concomitantly opening a private practice in Cedar Rapids, Iowa with an emphasis on family and cosmetic dentistry.
Dr. Blair is highly respected in the field of dentistry. In 2010 the Consumers’ Research Council named Dr. Blair as one of America’s Top Dentists. Also, Cambridge Who’s Who endorsed Dr. Blair as the 2010 professional of the year representing the cosmetic dentistry industry. In 2006 she became an honored member of the Manchester Who’s Who Registry of Executives and Professionals.
She has completed advanced training and academic requirements from The Facial Beauty Institute and is a preferred provider for Invisalign invisible braces.
Dr. Blair has extensive post-graduate training in cosmetic dentistry and with her long association with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry she is able to provide her patients with the most beautiful dentistry available. Her focus is creating gorgeous smiles for her patients in a relaxed and comfortable environment in both her Hinsdale and Downers Grove locations.
