Even though cosmetic dentistry isn't a legally separate specialty, the knowledge required is very specialized and isn't ordinarily taught as part of the regular dental school curriculum. Very few general dentists are expert in this area. Dr. Hall is a retired accredited cosmetic dentist, meaning that he has had extensive study and has passed rigorous examinations in cosmetic dentistry.
