Dr Karen Blair

Dr. Karen Blair received her bachelor of science degree in nursing from the University of Iowa. She went on to attend the University of Iowa College of Dentistry where she received her doctor of dental surgery degree in 1985. She opened a private practice in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and began teaching at the College of Dentistry.

She is a graduate of the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, where she has taken the following coursework:

	Advanced Functional Aesthetics
	Advanced Posterior Aesthetics
	Practical Occlusion in the Progressive Practice
	Mastering Neuromuscular Occlusion
	Practical Endodontics

She is highly respected in the field of cosmetic dentistry, and has a long association with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. In 2006 she passed the written examinations for accreditation in that academy and became a sustaining member.

The Consumers Research Council selected Dr. Blair as one of America's Top Dentists in 2003 and again in 2007. In 2006 she was recognized by the Manchester Who's Who Registry of Executives and Professionals as an honored member.

She is trained in Invisalign Orthodontics, and is Invisalign certified.

Dr. Blair loves creating beautiful smiles for her patients in a relaxed, comfortable and fun environment in her new Naperville office located in the Hobson Medical Campus. This state-of-the-art dental office offers soft tissue laser, cosmetic imaging, digital radiology, air abrasion, and intra-oral camera equipment. She is one of the first people in Chicago to offer laser dentistry, a technique for doing fillings that involves no drilling, and doesn't require anesthetic.

Dr. Karen Blair is licensed as a general dentist.
